The processor is the heart of the laptop. Run commands and data before splitting.

There are two main competitors in this market, Intel and AMD. Each brand has multiple processors grouped into different product groups. Is one brand better than the other? Unless you are an absolute gamer and need a very powerful and modern wizard, the answer is no. Whether you’re using an AMD Athlon(TM) 64 X2 dual-core processor or an Intel® Core(TM) dual-core processor, it doesn’t really make a difference. The two brands compete with each other to improve the processor, once every few months or once every few months.

When you’re ready to buy a laptop, make sure you’re using one of the latest processors (for the last 12 months) and make sure it’s okay.

Random access memory (RAM)

Simply put, the more memory a laptop has, the more reliable it is. Calculate at least 2 GB for running Windows Vista and 1 GB for running Windows XP. It’s good to know more about the laptop you’re looking at, but you don’t need to.

Hard disk

Hard drives store applications and documents. The larger your hard drive, the more space you can store your documents, photos, and videos. You can increase your storage capacity with an external hard drive. In case something goes wrong, you are happy to retrieve some of your backup documents. Accidents happen on laptops and are worth investigating. The price of many external hard drives can start at $100 with 500 GB. This is a great insurance against the loss of ample space, photos and valuable documents …

Laptops have a hard drive, but these days it requires at least 160GB.

Photographers card

This is rarely asked when shopping, but it is a very important component of a laptop. In fact, unlike today’s PCs, it’s nearly impossible to replace a laptop’s graphics card. Get it once in a lifetime! (at least one laptop). Graphics cards such as Intel X3100 and Nvidia 6100/7000 are sufficient for office use, web browsing, video and photography. For gamers, look for an NVidia GeForce 8600M or ATI Radeon Mobility HD 2600.
