Introduction:

Xiaomi Redmi series was powerful in its emerging days. Redmi Note 10 series includes four variants, and the Note 10 Pro is the best of all. This review is based on the Indian variant of the Note 10 Pro. And, we are truly impressed.

It is not a flagship phone but affordable and jam-packed with specifications. We have seen all the specs mentioned above, and it looks like a great phone on paper. Is it a worthy device? We will tell you.

Price in India and Availability:

Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro is a mid-range phone. Xiaomi has had a huge impact on the overall segment of this highly competitive Indian market with its Chinese brand. The 64GB variant is priced at 17,999INR, and the 128GB variant is 18,999INR on sale on various online selling platforms. The mobile phone case business online is also a growing market. You can check that too for related information.

Design and Build:

Redmi Note 10 Pro has a glass and metal sandwich design. The glass front, curved glass back with a plastic frame. The Onyx Gray color looks premium, and the other colors too are catchy.

The display is flat, and when you turn on the phone with one hand, it starts quickly. The glass metal finish looks cool, but it’s a bit slippery, so you have to consider that. It would fall on tables if placed at angles. Here you can get phone cases for protection.

The camera protrudes from the back panel. The quad-camera setup is vertically placed over a bump. Instead of a single camera bump, Xiaomi tried to do something unusual. You get a dual bump in Note 10 Pro which is different from other Xiaomi variants.

The power button is on the left and the volume rocker SIM slots are placed on the right. A USB Type-C Port, 3.5mm jack is on the top.

Display:

The display is the first factor we consider while purchasing a phone, and Redmi Note 10 Pro is on-point. It has a giant 6.67inch AMOLED FHD+ display with a 20:9 ratio. It features a 120Hz refresh rate. The display is dapper, and we confirm you will not be disappointed. The Gorilla Glass 5 is enjoyable.

As a binge-watcher and gamer, I love the large display. Dim the lights of your surroundings and experience the sound & picture quality. It is brighter in sunlight so you can use it under the sun.

As stated by the company, it has a 12Hz refresh rate. Although it is smooth sometimes, it can be sneaky when heavily used. A 60Hz standard rate is much better as it works well and doesn’t drain out the battery fast.

Performance:

In a jiffy, it is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G and Adreno 618 GPU. Heavy apps and intensive games run smoothly, but we recommend mid settings for best play. The Note 10 Pro is a true performer. We did not see any lags and drawbacks during multi-tasking.

Software:

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro is powered by Android v11 MIUI 12 out-of-the-box. Because of bloatware, ads, and more, I am not a fan of MIUI. You get AOD themes. It is simple to use. It offers features like Business, Tools, Security Apps, proprietary Apps, etc.

Cameras:

The Indian variant of Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro has a 64MP primary camera, 8MP ultrawide, 5MP wide, and a 2MP depth sensor. The only difference between Note 10 Pro and Note 10 Pro Max is the 108MP primary camera.

The 64MP camera is quite extensive. It captures detailed shots even in dim lights. It is great for photography purposes as a 64MP camera gets you crisp and vibrant images. Also, it records video in 4k @ 30 fps which is dynamic. At night mode camera works decent, it is a hit-and-miss case.

Battery Life:

Redmi Note 10 Pro equips a 5020mAh battery. It comes with a 33W wired charger. It juices phones from 0% to 100% in just 90 minutes. 90 minutes seems too much, but it is still a great deal amongst many competitors.

It has a long-lasting battery backup. It has a rating of 114 hrs of HD video playing. In short, you can expect one and a half day battery life with moderate usage.

Conclusion:

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 10 Pro is a steal deal according to us. In just 16,999Inr (in offer), it provides you features that you will get only in premium phones like 120Hz refresh rate, IP52 rating, 64MP primary camera, and of course the sleek metal finish. The only lag is MIUI 12  asks for constant updates and bloatware that the company should refrain from. Otherwise, it depends on you what you want.
