You may need to consider dental implants if you’re on the verge of tooth loss or you end up having to lose teeth at the dentist.

3. Root Canal

Root canal treatment (surgery) is performed to remove bacteria from an infected root canal. It also prevents the possibility of reinfection. During the surgery, the infected pulp is removed, the tooth is cleaned, and then it is filled up.

Root canal surgeries are notoriously painful, but the doctors will likely put you under for the surgery and provide you painkillers for your recovery.

4. Cosmetic Surgery

In today’s world, there’s no shame in adjusting the way you look. Some people think teeth are the best aspects of people, and some people just want to have a nice smile or may be self-conscious about crooked, stained, or chipped teeth.

Whatever the case, cosmetic dental surgery is an option if you want to improve your pearly whites. If you have a chipped tooth or something similar, cosmetic surgery could also be an option to fix that, giving you great results in a short amount of time.

5. Reconstructive Surgeries

In some cases, there are issues with the structure of your jaw. You’d undergo surgery to get that fixed, this would be reconstructive dental surgery.

If you’ve suffered severe damage to your jawbone and/or teeth, reconstructive surgery would be performed.
