Top NBA Players Entering the 2022-2023 Season

The NBA is in good shape with very good players for the immediate future. There have been debates about who is the best player in the world year in and year out over the past few seasons, with different NBA Champions every single season. There will be player movement this offseason, which will also change the landscape of the NBA for the 2022-2023 season and potentially beyond.

The casual sports fans love to bet on NBA players’ props on a night-to-night basis, and some also like to play in the online casino as well. Who are some of the top players entering the 2022-2023 NBA season?

Joel Embiid

Joel Embiid of the Philadelphia 76ers is one of the best centers in the NBA. A lot of people thought he should have won the NBA MVP Award a season ago. He averaged 30.6 PPG, 11.7 RPG, and 4.2 APG last year. Embiid had the 76ers as the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference.

Philadelphia looked lost without him on the floor this season. He is the main player on this basketball team. Some people believe they would have won if he had not gotten hurt against the Miami Heat in the second round of the NBA Playoffs. Also, James Harden flaming out doesn’t help either.

Tyrese Maxey and Tobias Harris are also good, but Joel Embiid is the main man on the Philadelphia 76ers.

Nikola Jokic

Nikola Jokic of the Denver Nuggets won the NBA MVP award for the second consecutive season. He is in some elite company after doing so with Giannis Antetokounmpo, Steve Nash, and Steph Curry. Jokic had the Denver Nuggets in the sixth seed in the Western Conference with a bunch of role players this past season.

They missed Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr. all season long due to injury. Had Nikola Jokic not played this season for Denver, they would have been one of the worst teams in the NBA. Jokic averaged 27.1 PPG, 13.8 RPG, and 7.9 APG. He has one of the best IQs in the NBA for a big man.

That is something that can’t be taught. This is something Nikola Jokic has compared to other players in the NBA.

Giannis Antetokounmpo

Giannis Antetokounmpo of the Milwaukee Bucks is one of the most dominant players in the NBA. He already has two NBA MVPs and one NBA Finals MVP in his NBA career.

Antetokounmpo has so many more awards to win before his career is over. He and the Bucks could have won it all this season if Khris Middleton didn’t get hurt. They just ran out of gas.

Jrue Holiday will also be around for a while. Also, good luck trying to stop Giannis Antetokounmpo in the paint. He drops a lot of 30-40 point games and also will grab somewhere between 10-15 rebounds and maybe even more. Antetokounmpo can shoot the three-ball now and is getting better at it. His passing and IQ have also gotten better.

He is ready to accomplish more. That is the kind of basketball player Giannis Antetokounmpo is, though.

Luka Doncic

Luka Doncic of the Dallas Mavericks has a chance to be the NBA MVP next season for the first time in his career. He is posting better numbers only at the age of 23 than Lebron James did. Doncic averaged 28.4 PPG, 9.1 RPG, and 8.7 APG last season for the Mavericks. Dallas was the fourth seed in the Western Conference.

They went all the way to the Western Conference Finals before losing to the eventual NBA Champions, the (3) Golden State Warriors. Dallas upset the number one seed, the Phoenix Suns, in seven games in Round 2. Luka Doncic had a killer instinct. Jalen Brunson was his best supporting cast player and will need to upgrade at that.

Christian Wood from the Houston Rockets via trade is a nice start to improve this roster for the Dallas Mavericks and Luka Doncic.
