Everyone has a unique comfort zone. Stepping out of that comfort zone looks different for everyone; for example, you could be afraid of public speaking or are content with eating unhealthy foods that don’t make you feel too good. But how often has remaining in those comfortable walls ever paid off in the long run? Ask yourself what your goals are and what you need to do to reach them. You don’t necessarily have to believe that everything happens for a reason. If not, you’re going to keep encountering these unpleasant obstacles, which will ultimately lower your self-worth.
Get In Touch With Your Body
If you listen, you’ll realize that your body is constantly trying to communicate with you, whether it’s through pain signals, physiological responses to emotions, tiredness, etc. For instance, if you’re constantly fatigued and don’t have the energy to do things you used to do with ease—it could be your body telling it’s time to slow down a bit. Listen to your body’s responses to specific situations and use your intuition to nourish and heal it. Trust that you know how to care for your body, whether it’s internal or external. Yes, this includes knowing when to pay your doctor a visit!
Do What Makes Invigorates Your Soul
Any chance you can do something that sends those feel-good endorphins rushing is a great way to build on your self-love. When we make an effort to do things that invite positive energy into our lives, we’ll naturally begin to attract the flow of more positive energy toward us. Life is short, so the more you prioritize activities that nurture your soul, the better quality of life you’ll have, and the more you’ll love yourself for it.
